Charts that argue back
Most "best albums" lists are one person's opinion typed up on a Friday afternoon. These are not. Every position on every chart here is the result of people picking one record over another, thousands of times, with an Elo rating system keeping score.
That means the charts move. A record can climb for months and then slide when it starts meeting stronger opposition. Each week is captured and kept exactly as it stood, so you can go back and see what was riding high at any point - and how wrong everyone was.
